Harbon offers quality Montessori Kindergarten
for children who are five years old by September 1, or who
have been tested and approved by a qualified testing facility.
Children receive the benefit of a specially prepared environment
to prepare them for the first grade. We offer educational
excellence with a ratio of one staff person for every fifteen
students. We use the phonetic approach to reading, and a
hands on manipulation of math materials to encourage a love
of mathematics. Units of Social Studies, Science, and Geography
are woven into the curriculum for maximum benefit. Conferences
are held twice a year, however, teachers are available to
discuss progress as needed.
